The Criterion Hotel is located within the C.B.D of the city, which overlooks the Fitzroy River and the beautifully landscaped and prepared Riverbank walk. Parker Function Room is the original ‘Grand Ballroom’ of the Criterion Hotel, which was built by the Parker and Curtis families in 1887. Parkers has lost none of the character of that bygone era and is truly representative of the traditional English/Victorian influence in the development of Rockhampton. Parkers is fully air conditioned with bar and facilities. Subject to the style of the function, Parkers can cater for up to 100 cocktail style or 70 for seated.

GUEST NUMBERS/ BAR SERVICE
The minimum number of persons for a function is 30. Should the numbers go below this figure and you require table service for the drinks or the bar to be open a fee of $25.00 per hour for the bar staff member will apply. Numbers of the persons attending the function are required seven days prior and this will be the numbers applied to the function account. Should you require full table service for the duration of your function this will be charged at $20.00 per hour, for each waiter required. Should you not require bar service you are more than welcome to purchase your drinks from the main bar.

ENTERTAINMENT
The Criterion does have access to several local entertainers and is happy to put you in touch with them, to organise this portion of your function. We do reserve the right to veto any entertainment not considered suitable with regard to the hotel licence and request a moderate music volume is maintained.
